![]() The Extreme Masters III Main Round approaches its end. The Continental Finals Europe was suppose to be held in Hamburg, but will instead be held during CeBIT, same week as the Global Finals. ESL has announced a major change in the 2009 tournament schedule. The European Continental Finals was supposed to be a separate event, located in Hamburg mid February. ESL however announces that the event has been pushed and will take place during CeBIT in Hannover. This mean the Continental Finals Europe and Global Finals will both take place during CeBIT. The Continental Finals Europe will see twelve European Counter-Strike teams fight it out for 80.000$ and seven slots for the Global Finals. So far only SK Gaming and mTw have secured a slot for the Continental Finals Europe, but as the Main Round for Extreme Masters III approaches its end, more will follow. The Continental Finals Europe will as mentioned take place during CeBIT 3-5th of March, while the Global Finals will also take place during CeBIT 6-8th of March. There is still quite a while till March, but you should already now buckle up and get ready for an intense week of Counter-Strike. |
